TAP Nerve Block Ultrasound Training Model

This CAE Blue Phantom full torso model is ideal for learning image acquisition and interpretation, and practicing the psychomotor skills necessary for performing ultrasound-guided transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block procedures. Our patented Simulex insert allows learners to practice identifying, localizing and targeting the relevant structures with ultrasound, including the cutaneous and subcutaneous tissues, external oblique muscle, internal oblique muscle, transversus abdominis muscles, and the peritoneum. Simulate the entire TAP block procedure by delivering local anesthetic in the plane between the internal oblique and transversus abdominis muscles; the fluid is automatically expelled for repeated use. The Simulex tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for 1000+ punctures when used with an 18-21 gauge needle, and the insert is easily replaceable.
